We Yearned For Yesterday Until We Remembered Today

This series is based on nostalgia and the longing for something old or what once was.  It’s also a look at contradiction.  The women look fierce, but yet stare blankly at an unseen presence.  Vintage surroundings touch on a simpler life but the photo is still tinged with a gritty modern twist.  They pose beautifully, not really knowing what they’re doing, but yet shamelessly powering through to the next level. They seem to say there is no going back, only forward but also beg to reminisce of “better days” and “simpler times”.  It leaves us asking…was it really better?  Or simpler?
